Student Life

New Hope Students have many social and academic activities available to participate in.

Student Government

Student Government is a very active group of students who organize events such as Spirit Week, Pep Assemblies, Chapels, Banquets, Bonfire & Game Nights, Sadie Hawkins Fall Festival, See You At The Pole National Day of Prayer, Teacher Appreciation Week, Giving Hope Food Drive, Fall Community Outreach, Homecoming and many more activities throughout the year.

The CREW

Warrior Nation Crew is another energetic group of high school students who have a desire to promote school spirit and encourage each other at New Hope in all their endeavors.  They have planned, decorated and served at many school activities such as our Elementary Star Parties, Grandparents Day, Half-Time Sports Activities, Cross Country and Track Meets, Spectator Bus, and their ever-popular “Locker Notes” of encouragement to members of academic and sport teams.  A popular recent addition to the CREW is the “Fuzzy Wuzzy Warrior”, a large, cuddly, stuffed, superhero bear that makes his appearance from time to time to reward acts of kindness and school service.

There are many activities, teams and clubs are available for students to participate.  In addition to those listed above, we also have a Fir Point High School Retreat, Harvest Festival, Drama Club, Music, Art, Brain Bowl, Academic Challenge, Spelling Bee, Basketball, Volleyball, Cross Country, Track & Field, Box Tops & Labels Drive, Student Appreciation Week, Senior Week, and many more fun activities that pop up throughout the school year.
